Version 0.2.0 is out, and it is the first build we are calling a beta.
Parshn is a smart notebook now, not just a reminder service. You keep your words in it, you browse them the way you like, and it brings them back to you while you work.
The notebook
Earlier versions could store a word and remind you about it later. That was all they did. You could not go back and look at what you had saved, so the app felt like something you fed rather than something you used.
Every topic now opens as a table of the words inside it. Scroll it, search across it, and sort it by word or by meaning. Click a column header to sort ascending, click it again to flip the direction.
Words are editable. If you saved a translation you have since decided against, change it. If you saved something by mistake, delete it. Both happen inside the topic, with no trip through a settings screen.
Topics are still how things are organised. A word you add goes into a topic, and you read one topic at a time.
Reminders while you work
Reminders arrive as native system notifications, the same way any other desktop notification does. They fire on an interval you choose in Settings, and they draw from the topics you have left active.
That part has not changed since the first prototype. You should not have to sit down and open an app to study. You add the words you want to learn, and they come back to you during the day.
Beta means beta
Version 0.2.0 works, and it is still early. If something breaks or a reminder arrives at a moment that makes no sense, tell us. The full list of changes is on the changelog.
